A Must Have Organometallics Book!

When I first bought this book last year for my undergraduate Organometallics class, I was very intimidated because I had not be exposed to inorganic fundamentals quite yet. However, as I started to learn and become exposed to inorganic and organometallics, this book has proven to be invaluable in the references and resources that it provides. It lays everything out in a clear manner and provides the references to further educate myself. I think every undergraduate interested in inorganic and organometallic chemistry or is taking a class in either should get this book in their hands. :)

Good book, bad kindle version

This is an excellent introductory text on organometallic chemistry. The kindle version has some very annoying typos, though, most of which are in chemical terms and symbols. When this book got a kindle reincarnation it was just a little Frankenstein, and I have to leave myself comments with corrections all over the place. The figures and diagrams also appear very small in the text, and upon double-clicking to see them full-size, they are very low quality images even when they contain only text! Overall I am dissatisfied with the reading experience for the reasons I have mentioned but completely satisfied with the content. I encourage other readers to purchase this book as a hard copy.

Had this book for an inorganic class. It is fairly comprehensive, to the point, and well written. The publisher doesn't play those stupid odd answers in the back, even in a solutions manual; etc. All answers are explained in the back of the book for book problems. I found this to be particularly helpful, though some of the explanations are a bit lacking. Overall the book was easy to follow and a good resource.
